Investigation #006

Location: Private Residence
Date: 11/16/2006
City: Lynchburg
State: Virginia
Case details:
One of the Ghostec members got permission for us to investigate and explore his old home place here in Virginia. The house was built around 1940, his grandfather, along with family in tow, moved in. The family lived there until their older relatives had passed away. He has fond childhood memories of the house. It is a lovely old home with white columns out front, a connected garage, basement and two floors. We arrived at the place around dark. Our member's Mother was there briefly to show us around and then left. She keeps the house furnished for family visits, but it stands unoccupied. It is as though someone just went out for a loaf of bread and would soon be coming back. Toys were still upstairs in the young boy's room. A collection of memorabilia that says 1940. Having been born in 1936, it was especailly touching to my heart to see this page out of time.
We set up camcorders and still cameras. We did recordings, both analog and digital throughout the home. Our impressionists toured without talking, then sat in the front room with pen and paper to do what they do best. The rest of the members quietly went about investigating.
Conclusions: At the end of the evening, our Ghostec member read what the impressionist had to say and was astounded by their accuracy of events. We did not get positive proof in the video or pictures, but did get EVP's. We cannot post one particular one due to the foul language. Our Ghostec member said his grandfather and grandmother never used profane language, so we are still wondering just who we picked up in the recordings. That gave us an eerie feeling! The one thing we know for sure is, we did not pick up his family members.
Note: We are invited to come again. I think, as does the rest of the team, there is something there, but not a spirit that our team member could identify from his own past.
