On April 18th, 2009 I had the pleasure of meeting Craig and Melissa Telesha. Craig and I were speakers at Rick Fisher's Paranormal Conference in Mt. Joy, Pennslyvania. After the break, I bought Craig's book "Strange Frequencies, A Practical Guide to Paranormal Technology." I finally got time to read the book and it is wonderful. I am not the most tech-inclined person, but I understood it. It is well-written and so informative for anyone who is ghost investigating. Craig gives pictures and examples of how you can build your own equipment. He gives ways to experiment with different pieces of equipment... thus, giving yourself guidelines to go by. His knowledge of cameras, and electomagnetic ghosting toys is superior and he also tells you his reliable sources for buying parts. It is such a good investment... keep his book near by when you are pondering about your next tech step. Whatever you need to know, you will find Craig has a vast knowledge base for the technical side of things.

Melissa edited the book for Craig and according to Craig, kept him on track with spelling and verbage use. Excellent job Melissa!

Now, here is what the book looks like and you need to get one!

Vicky Elsing of Stoughton, Wisconsin recently published a book about her haunted Second Hand Store. What an interesting place! It used to be the "Grand Hotel", a huge place with a mysterious past, giving way to all kinds of possible paranormal activity. Vicky has done a terrific job of hunting down the history. There have been many paranormal groups she has been gracious enough to let investigate this wonderful old place. She runs her business with help from beyond this life. She, her husband Phil, Boxer Otis, and now the newest member, young Boxer Baxter, have their hands full with running a home, family and a haunted establishment.

Vicky has written about all the ghosts there and the groups that have come and gone. It is well written and you will have to read as I did to appreciate this lady's efforts to bring you the story. It can be bought at Amazon.com or through the publisher IUniverse.

Sue is the author of a 2 books titled "Ghosts? I Think So!" and Ghosts? Maybe!. More information on it can be found here, or on Publish America's website.
